Mints

Since Friday night, I have been observing my daughter when I first offered her some mint that I got from a workshop/seminar I attended. Somehow the little minty flavour of the candy attracts her to ask for more.

After dinner, I gave her one piece and she somehow liked it. I told her to give one to Tita Maita and she did. Then while watching some TV, she approached me and asked, "can I get another candy? I can't remember how it tasted". I said yes. She immediately got one, gave me one by putting it inside my mouth and rushed another piece to Tita Maita. Then she came back saying that Tita doesn't like it so she will just eat the little candy.

Come Saturday, she would frequent the candy but everytime asked me for permission to get. 1, 2, 3, 4, ... 5th piece. After that, I told her to hold off until dessert after dinner. She agreed but was smiling while chewing what was left in her mouth. True enough, after finishing her dinner, she tells me, "can I get a candy for dessert?" I smiled and said yes.

I guess this mint candy will not last a week.

Cheers!
